A fully company devised show that revolves around each shows unique theme. Members from the company are able to apply their specialties, teach one another, and create beautiful and intense performances. This show was about the things that keep us up at night. It consisted of dance, singing, scenes and soundscapes, and more!

For over a decade, this Austin-based company brings its original musical comedies around Texas states. It involved its own, portable band, an adaptive and fun cast that is constantly changing and improvising, and a different stage every show- each unique to its town, and each with its own set of accommodations.

This production included the creation and manipulation of dozens of puppets through incredible collaboration between puppeteers, actors, and directors.

Jessica was able to puppet, bunraku style mixed with marionette, huge dragon heads, shadow puppets, hand puppets, and much more!

The Live Event

An Original Devised Production

GHOST UNIT is a devised hybrid performance created by Southwestern University theatre students and faculty members. It combines the 1904 play The Cherry Orchard by Anton Chekhov, and Ghost Adventures to make something never before seen. It is made to be enjoyed online and in person, each providing a unique, unpredictable experience.

In the midst of Covid-19, a new outdoor stage was built and used to enable the theatre to keep being made and seen safely. Outdoor theater is very different from indoor theatre, and the experience enabled quite a lot of quick learning, adjustments, and new skills.

The Wolves

After a summer of intense training, soccer practices, preparing for a 5K, yoga sessions, and much more, a ferocious group of actresses took to the turf to create a beautiful and complicated team dynamic. While playing the leader of this soccer team, Jessica was able to study hirearchies, pursue objectives, as well as understand how an ensemble can truly come together.

Album began rehearsals the week before the Nationwide shut down for Covid-19, and it seemed that the show would not be continued. however, upon Southwestern reopening for the Fall of 2020, Album made its way back onto the season and kicked off the school's first outdoor production, and pioneered the approach to theatre within pandemic protocols.
